PROBLEM 7.1 *: A linear time-invariant discrete-time system is described by the difference equation y [ n ] = 2 x [ n ] - 4 x [ n - 2] - x [ n - 4] + 3 x [ n - 6] (a) Determine the impulse response h [ n ] for this system. (b) Determine the filter coefficients b k in the causal FIR representation: y [ n ] = M k =0 b k x [ n - k ].
