Drew Rosecrans Section: 11am Reflections on Engineering Communications #2 November 24 Living Up To My Expectations As expected by myself and my instructors I have improved my writing skills throughout the semester. The only way to get better at writing is to write, and that is what I have been doing all semester long as it has been assigned. I have achieved many of my goals that I outlined in the previous reflections paper, but also a few were out of my reach. I believe that I have met and surpassed my goal of getting back up to the level of writing that I was at during my senior year of high school. Also I have learned how to be professional in my writing and presentations, and also how to be effectively communicate information through both of those mediums. What has been working well for me is just writing. I like to do a sort of free write to start off all of my assignments and then I read back through what I have written and pick out the parts that are good and on topic and expand on them. I regret to admit it, but I failed to improve on my rewriting skills. The main reason for this was because I still have been procrastinating. Which is another goal that I failed to accomplish, I had wished to rid of my bad habit of procrastination. Without the time required to
