PRELAB ASSIGNMENT 5 OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS 1. COMPARATOR Build the given circuit in Multisim. The purpose of this circuit is to show how an operational amplifier can be connected to perform basic comparison functions. Answer the questions in your Prelab assignment report. Note: the potentiometers in the circuit shown below are adjusted with the ‘A’ and ‘B’ keys on the key board; XMM1 shows the input at the non-inverting terminal, and XMM2 shows the input at the inverting terminal; XMM3 show the output.
