Explorations Of Our Digital Future Spring 2007 Group Milestone #1, Part 1 of 1 Strength From Diversity Written by: Jeremy Garrett, Edited Tom Walker, Copyrighted Jan. 2006 -- Jan. 2007 Part 1 -- Strength From Diversity: Your group will be responsible for a 2-3 page paper (double line spacing, 12 pt. font) describing the diversity in your group and how that diversity may help you in completing the semester project. Some ideas include cultural differences, where you grew up (ex. rural, urban, international), gender, work styles, major/education, internships/work experience, travel, career goals, and personality (ex. confrontational, passive, quiet, loud etc). While it is up to you what aspects you focus on, all of the above topics should be covered. This discussion may also bring up certain differences that will be a challenge or possible source of conflicts and confrontations. Talk about these and what you will do to try to mitigate the negative components of these conflicts. Also talk about how these potential confrontations
