Richard Wilson Patrick Moke Mike Dulik Richard Honeycutt Chris Sutherland Milestone 4, Part 2 The general idea of our security system is covered under Patent Number 7,167,543. This patent maintains that our security system is one including numerous sensors providing a range of security functions, as well as user interaction and identification. This patent also recognizes the existence and functionality of a telephone service, which can be activated or ignored by the user. This patent does not in any way limit the future development of such a security system of this genre. There are no trade secrets hidden within the creation of our security product, nor are there any self-developed components that need copyrights. We have simply looked at other ideas, as well as previous products, and combined them into a wireless home security system. Several products already containing copyrights have been used to build our product. Some of these items include: temperature probes, dome cameras, touch
