Richard Wilson Patrick Moke Mike Dulik Chris Sutherland Milestone 5, Part 2 Section 1: 1) A comfortable, familiar user input method 2) The remote control device needs to be either small or part of an existing device 3) The home owners in question actually span nearly all economic brackets, but within each bracket price is still a factor. 4) The home security system needs to be able to be activated and deactivated remotely. 5) The customers want/need to be able to connect to their homes from anywhere. 6) The system needs to provide information about basic home conditions at a minimum 7) The ability to actually lock and unlock doors through this system 8) The ability to check other possible entry points 9) The ability to alert both the home owner and the authorities in case of a problem. 10) The ability to provide some form of reaction to threats 11) Some form of “scaled response” 12) Remote access to video and audio recording devices.
