3. 4. Part 4 1. Yes since the differences have no real outline, they are only minor and spread throughout the brain. 2. No since there was no distinct difference in the healthy and unhealthy brain images after using image subtraction and the edge method. Only minor differences showed up using the edge method that does not define any dramatic change in the brain. 3. The edge method appears to be more effective because it picked up subtle differences in the brain that the image subtraction method did not.
