Design manufacture, etc. the organization finds what is does best and find partners that do those functions better than they do. This creates a NETWORK ORGANIZATION. Many of these things are communicate electronically. 2. Dynamic network: It has a temporary nature. Created for a purpose, serves its purpose and then it dies off. a. E.g. Movies. There used to be 5 major studios. Eg metro, warner, paramount, 20ths century fox i. All these movie places owned everything needed to make a movie in the olden days. Actors, theater, film, etc. ii. Boeing got their wings from someplace, engine comes from someplace. When you place all the things together you get a Boeing dream line. 3. Decentralization: The vertical dimension of an organization. In a decentralized organization, people lower down have substantial authority to make decisions.
