Supply Chain 3/23/2011 There may a question or two on Dell for the final on the Final Exam A. The article is talked about a lot in business. Dell is one of the leading innovative companies and is known for its resilience. They are not afraid to change something if it stops working. There has been a gender shift at dell. B. Dell had to expand to different market segments a. First they stapled themselves to the customer b. Second, they said they would keep their make to order business, but added to their capabilities. They did this by applying the voice of the customer. c. Dell aligned their technology to d. Dell recognized that the answers and capabilities were diff for diff customer segments, so the supply Chains that they needed to build needed to be different. e.
