Amanda Randolph Section 4 Reaction Paper 3 With the world growing more connected each day and the job market becoming much more competitive, it is almost required that we as people make changes to various areas of our life. Some of these changes may be small, but others may need to be larger. The larger ones may come in the areas of our working skills, education level and economic spending. Tony Wagner and Andy Hargreaves focus on the changes we face today in their articles, but the changes in mainly education and “skills.” In his book, Tony Wagner talks about the achievement gap. This gap is the gap between what we teach in our schools (United States schools) and the skills students will need to succeed in the 21 st century. He talked about seven “survival skills” that were critical to achieving success in the ever-changing 21st century, but his skills were based mainly on education. Andy Hargreaves addressed how to teach beyond the knowledge society, which means basically teaching to succeed it areas other than education and work.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
