Divide the total incorrect by 4 and subtract the resulting number from the total correct. This is the adjustment made for guessing. Then round the result to the nearest whole number. This will give you your raw total score. Use the total score conversion table to find the scaled total score that corresponds to your raw total score. Example: Suppose you chose the correct answers to 80 questions and incorrect answers to 46. Dividing 46 by 4 yields 11.5. Subtracting 11.5 from 80 equals 68.5, which is rounded to 69.
