Lab 215: Ohm’s Law Ohm’s Law Current, Voltage and Resistance Measurements Name : Samuel Dzifanu Objective: The purposes of this lab are: To learn how to use some electronic devices such, an ammeter to measure the current, a voltmeter to measure the voltage across a circuit, and the resistance using an ohmmeter. Study the properties of Ohm's Law and series and parallel circuits, and to formulate data from the experiments. And to learn the properties of non-Ohmic device such as an LED. Theory: Ohm’s Law is the relationship between the current flowing through resistance, R and the potential drop across it .Ohm’s Law states the voltage or electric potential in direction proportional to the product of the current and the resistance where current is in Amps (A), voltage in volts (v), and resistance in Ohms (Ω).
