Visual Aid: None Organizational Pattern: Topical Introduction (Note: Multiple points can be covered in one section.) I. Attention getter: “ In 2006, a total of 38,396 persons died of drug-induced causes in the United States. (Heron et al 2009)” II. Thesis/Subject: The legalization of medicinal marijuana is not necessary because we can advance and are already advanced medically without legalizing drugs, and the change would only have negative effects on society.
