Unformatted text preview: Connor Billing March 4, 2010 COM 135 Sect. I Informative Speech Analysis I feel that this speech was a great improvement from my last speech attempt. I felt that my last speech was rushed, and was missing a lot of the important components of what a speech should contain. I feel that I focused on making sure I had all the elements the book dictates are necessary to produce an effective speech. I greatly improved my introduction and conclusion, while maintaining my good eye contact. These two things were definite enhancements to my speech while, my delivery rate and transitions were not as solid. After watching my speech I realize that I definitely had a solid opening and closing and good eye contact, but could definitely work on my delivery rate and transitions. In my first speech, my introduction and conclusion were definite sore spots that really hindered the effectiveness of my speech, so I focused on those in my informative.
