Firestone/ Ford Case 1. In this case there are 3 main stakeholders. These include the owners of both Firestone and Ford. The third stakeholder would be the consumer of the products (ford explorer or recalled tires) 2. The firestone stakeholder interest is to protect their brand and not to lose money in stock price or in repaying the consumer of the product because of the malfunction. The ford stakeholders also want to protect the brand name and not lose money in this case. They are looking to put the blame on the tire company for the malfunction with the tire. The last stakeholder is the consumer. Their interest is to protect themselves. They want to reimbursed for the injuries or time lost that occurs from either the accident or the necessity to buy new tires. 3. The way that it involves the suppliers is because the tires for the ford explorer are being supplied by firestone. It effects the supplier because the part of the car that is having the problem is the part that is being supplied by the supplier. This means that
