John Malloy Reflection #1 Tuesday Sept. 2, 2008 My name is John Malloy and I’m a 17 year old senior at Hoover High School. I take an active interest in many clubs at Hoover, including chess, leadership, and ultimate frisbee. This year I also plan on creating a ping pong club at Hoover (if you or anyone you know would like to be the advisor of the club please let me know). On top of that I am a part of National Honor Society and a captain of the varsity soccer team. When I’m not busy with any school activities I spend a lot of time hanging out with my friends and relaxing. This is my first year as an only child at home. I have two older brothers; one is a junior at the University of Dayton, and the other is a freshman at the University of Findlay. My dog, Gizmo, keeps me company at home. He is a maltese-shitzu mix, and is fully grown at about 10 pounds. Along with physics, I’m taking AP Calculus, AP English, and AP Computer Science. This is going to be a very tough school-year, but I feel like I’ll be able to keep up and do well.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
