Coordinate system is given in problem F F Fe =  0.2 F lbs = ( ) ( ) ( ) 22 2 0 5,6 1,0 4 1 5,5, 4 66 05 61 04 F ft AB e AB ft −− = = = +−  ( ) 11 0.2 5,5, 4 5,5, 4 66 5 66 F F F e lbs lbs  = = =   We now need a vector perpendicular to the sloped surface. A strategy would be to find a vector parallel to the surface and then rotate it 90 degrees. A vector parallel to the surface can be generated by picking any 2 points on the slope and finding the position vector. The easiest way is to use the corners of the surface. Find a position vector between (10,0,8)ft and (10,2,0)ft : 10 10,2 0,0 8 0,2, 8 r ft ft =− = 

A vector perpendicular to this would make an angle with it equal to 90 degrees.
