You are given a battery pack that provides a 12 V difference between its terminals. The battery pack has a build in safety fuse so that if the current exceeds 10 A, the fuse will blow, creating an open circuit. You are also given a box of twelve light bulbs each with a resistance of 10 ! . a) P: What is the most bulbs you can hook up in series to the battery pack without blowing the fuse? b) P: What is the most bulbs you can hook up in parallel to the battery pack without blowing the fuse? c) P: Which arrangement, your answer to a) or your answer to b), will be the quickest to result in a dead battery? d) Q: True or False, a dead battery results when all of the battery’s charge has been converted to light and heat in the bulbs. Explain your answer.
