Sydney Livingston Instructor: Beth Carraway MKT-135-I01 12 July 2011 Case Study: Southwest 1. From what you read in this chapter and on their website, do you think the company has accomplished Rollin King’s and Herb Kelleher’s vision of “getting their passengers to their destinations when they want to get there, on time, at the lowest price fares, and make darn sure they have a good time doing it?” Why or why not? Yes, I believe that King and Kelleher have accomplished their vision. By viewing the website and reading the chapter I see that they offer their passengers very low prices compared to other airlines. They get their passengers to their destinations in a fair amount of time. They also make sure their passengers have a comfortable flight by offering comfortable cabins, a friendly crew, sips and snacks, magazines and Wi-Fi from thousands of feet in the air making sure their passengers have a good time while flying with them. 2.
