A monorail is an efficient use of transportation. Since it is built above the campus it will not require excessive innovations. It will allow for more space on the ground unlike a railroad. A railroad would need tracks on the ground and would only be able to go in two directions. The monorail has the ability to weave and turn around buildings and other obstacles. In an article by Peter Brassarb he said “ Much tighter turns are possible with this monorail and track switching is simplified.” The monorails are also a clean and eye catching. They have a futuristic look that would not take away from the campus look. Another solution is having a bus route that is just around the perimeter of the academic
