For this
problem, I looked at the benefits of using CNGs vs. diesel fuel buses. The criteria on
which my decision was based on was the cost of the buses, miles per gallon, the cost of
the fuel used in the diesel bus vs. the CNG bus, cost of maintenance for the buses, the
CO2 emissions, and the cost effectiveness of the CO2. The reason I am looking at those
criteria is because they address the main topics that we cover in class, like the topic of
sustainability and becoming green, along with the cost of each bus. According to the table
found on mwcog.org, last
accessed September 22, 2010, it shows the exactly how a diesel
bus and a CNG would fit into my criteria. Other data that I found to give me more insight
into which type of bus would be most effective was found on walshcarlines.com, last
