SURVIAL GUIDE FOR DISTANCE LEARNING STUDENTS 2 Survial Guide For Distance Learning Students A Survival Guide for Students is a functional tool for those who are pursuing an academic future. Having this book supplies a student with the tools to accomplish his or her quest for academic success. Hints and suggestions from others that have traveled the road before can be very beneficial to one’s academic journey. Axia College has an abundant amount of educational resources available to its students. One of the most valuable resource tools available is the Center for Writing Excellence. It has many options to help improve your assignment papers before you submit them, allowing you to check to make sure that your information does not match that of another without the source being cited. It helps instill original work is turned in to your instructor. It also offers Write Point, which will help you better word your paper, by helping you eliminate common writing mistakes. Other resources are available to the student such as, the Apollo Library, Labs, and The Center for Mathematics Excellence, and tutorials. The college also has made available an online library that can help students with their studies. Students have the ability to research journal articles, books and other sources of educational material. The ability to use the online library 24 hours a day, seven days a week is another valuable resource that is available.
