Matthew Rambo Marketing Plan 4/29/10 Adding New Flavors to Red Bull Executive Summary The addition of new flavors to Red Bull would put the company in even a better position in the energy drink business. Red Bull already tops all of its competitors in sales with just its one flavor. Many other energy drink companies have many flavors and still can’t compete with Red Bull. By adding different flavors to the face of Red Bull, it will slowly wither away other competitors. Red Bull could take over the whole energy drink business if they were to do this. We already have enough sponsors and promoters to make it an easy transition for the new flavors to come into the market. Red Bull won’t have to do really anything beside create the new flavors. The rest will be taken care of by everybody that is already and advocate of the company. With all of the athletes sponsored by Red Bull, it will be very easy to spread the word about the new flavors and cans. Once consumers see their favorite athletes drinking a new flavor of Red Bull, they’re most likely going to go out and try that product. There are many different companies around Red Bull that are trying to compete with them. Red Bull can easily take these other competitors off the market if they just spice up their products a little bit. Why not spice it up by adding new flavors to the Red Bull world?
