Ans) 1) Analog circuits handle electrical date that varies continuously over the range of voltage, current, or power values. Typical applications of analog ciucuits are radio transmitter/receiver and audio recording/playback systems. 2) Digital circuits operate signals that vary two distinct voltage levels (a high (1) or a low(0)) as a binary bit. Digital logic devices use on/off type command or discrete incremental changes approximating the actions of an analog circuit. 2. What is parasitic capacitance? What problem can this condition create in ICs? Ans) Parasitic capacitance occurs unintentionally as a result of the way materials constructed on the substrate. It interferes with the ability of electronic circuits to operate at faster switching speed.
