- A white american anthropologist Ken Good specialized in the Yanomamo Indians, located on the border that separates Venezuela and Brazil. Ken learned the trust in the Yanomamo Indians. Once a girl gets her period, she was presented to Ken to marry and Ken married her and they had 3 children, 1 in the tribe and 2 in America. They go back to the Amazon to find her tribe. - After 6 days, Yarima finds land that looks familiar and from then on they have to hike up, starting off optimistic in finding the village within a day or two. But before long the jungle takes a toll on them. Hiked with their kids. - Two days stretch into four and they still can’t find the village. Four days become six. They sent scouts to find the village but they couldn’t find the village at all. - Ken finds village and sends a group to go find Yarima and Yarima gets to see the people she left behind for a long time. Since Yarima was born here she isn’t treated as a guest but as someone who never left.
