1.0 Executive Summary The company in our project is OldTown White Coffee China. The OldTown White Coffee Corporation is origin form Ipoh, Malaysia. This company offer food and beverage and also 3-in-1 white coffee at Malaysia and China. The example of 3-in-1 white coffee product offer at Malaysia and China is OldTown White Coffee 3-in-1 classic, Hazelnut, natural cane sugar, less sugar, Mocha and so on. In 2004 and 2005 this company have successfully exported their product to foreign country like China, Taiwan, United State and so on. In 2017, the company has successfully entered China market by opening an Old Town White Coffee restaurant. OldTown White Coffee practice different expansion strategies such as franchise, licensed, partially-owned and fully-owned strategies in different countries such as Malaysia, Singapore, China and Indonesia. Furthermore, the expansion strategy uses by this company to enter China market is by appointing local partners, regional license agreement with Xiamen Kuaike Investment Management Co. Ltd. Next, the strength for the OldTown White Coffee which is highly chain of comprising both owned and franchise, strong beverage retail network, provide different variety of food and drinks which offers customers plenty of choices and having a good brand recognition. Furthermore, the strengths of the OldTown White Coffee in China is that it is established with more than 20 years of industry experience. Through the part of analyse country we know that the China has more infrastructure to doing business, and has more efficient transportation. Furthermore, China, are the one of world biggest and most populated country. Continuously, China, are the one of world biggest and most populated country. This few reasons had made OldTown White Coffee to grab this opportunity to enter the China market. Throughout the journey of expanding its business globally, OldTown White Coffee has faced many opportunities and challenges in expanding its business internationally. Through this project, we studied the opportunities and challenges, how they overcome those challenges and succeeded in conquering the market. Moreover, we also provided some recommendations that can help OldTown White Coffee in growing and more successful in the future. 2.0 Introduction of International Business and company International business is referring to the activity trade of goods, services, technology, capital and knowledge across the national borders. Furthermore, it involves the cross-border transaction of goods and service between two or more countries. Next, we will talk about one multinational company origin from Malaysia which is OldTown Berhad.
