This is often a hard thing to do due to differences in personality and work ethics. To improve my workrelationships, I will do the following: First, I will demonstrate openness and honesty with my colleagues and request that they do the same. This will ensure good communication (Gopal, 2009). I will also try and identify common interests that my colleagues and I share, to ease tension and build up social relationships (ZIMMERMAN, 2010). Lastly, I will learn to respect and appreciate the diversity of specialties at my workplace.
