BKAS3103 – STRATEGIC INFORMATION SYSTEM PLANNING INSTRUCTIONS FOR ARTICLE REVIEW ASSIGNMENT (GROUP ASSIGNMENT) 1.0 Article Selection 1.1 Each group has to search for 3 articles dealing with issues surrounding strategic information system planning processes and implementation, problems, risks, success and failure, evaluation and justification of system solution choice. 1.2 The articles must be from the year 2015 – 2020 covering current trends and issues in IS/IT strategic planning. 1.3 The articles need to come from a reputable source or a refereed journal. DO NOT simply use a website as your source of information. 1.4 Do not choose a story from a website that is not associated with a magazine, journal, or newspaper. The article needs to come from a reputable journalistic source 1.5 The best way to access the articles is to use the UUM Sultanah Bahiyah Library web site since it had searchable databases that make finding an article fairly simple. You can access the databases here . Examples of good database are Jstor, Emerald, Proquest and Sciverse-Scopus. 2.0 Instructions 2.1 Articles Summary and Comments. For each article you have to: Summarize the article. Comment on the article. 2.2 Assignment Format Failure to follow each of the format instructions will result in a reduction in the assignment grade, even if all other aspects of the assignment are correct.
