Directions for completing advising sheet 1. First enter the date and grade for all classes completed in the far left column. 2. Second, in the current semester column, place a check on all the classes you are enrolled in. 3. Label the next columns for each semester you plan on taking classes, including summers. 4. Pick two Accounting classes per semester and then fill in your program with Business core classes and segment III or GE classes. Now you are ready to plan your schedule for future semesters. There are a few basic points to keep in mind as you select classes including the following: 1. Remember that interviewing for accounting positions occurs mainly in the fall semester for jobs starting after the spring semester. For example, if you plan on graduating at the end of the spring 2009 semester, you should plan to interview during the fall 2008 semester. Since this is a stressful time, you may want to adjust your workload during the interview semester.
