Reflection Question #4Jackie ParrI think that making the study schedule for week 7 was helpful. The study schedule helpedme the most with time management, by visually looking at an itinerary of my week I was able to stay on track with school work. When I first started to make the schedule I realized one of my final exams was actually due by I different time than what I initially thought. I was surprised at how busy my schedule has been this week with preparing for my final exams and completing course materials. I do have enough time to fulfill all of my academic goals and most personal goals. I made sure to schedule myself an appropriate amount of time to eat meals and complete grocery shopping. Importantly I did not schedule myself too much course work or study time on the days that I work. I work 12 hour shifts, when I get home from work I find myself mentally exhausted if I try to cram in too much course work on those days. One of my biggest hobbies is turkey hunting and this week just so happens to be the opening week for spring turkey season in Ohio. I’ve had to sacrifice not going out to turkey hunt this week in order to complete my academic goals. I wish I would have utilized my time more wisely over this past weekend so thatI did not have so much course work to complete this week. However, not going out to hunt this week is a sacrifice that I’m willing to make to reach my academic goals.I’m most concerned with my nursing informatics final because it is over a large amount of content from the course textbook. I’m not a strong reader and the chapters in this book are very thick. The content can sometimes be dull and difficult for me to stay focused on. A huge resource for this final exam that can be utilized is all of the worksheets that I completed every
week for the course. These worksheets are almost like mini study guides for the quizzes I took each week.
