Summer Jibrin November 29, 2017 Analysis Paper Discrimination As a group we recognized and addressed one of the biggest issues in the country; racial and gender discrimination in the work place, more specifically, in the hiring process. We came up with this idea quickly because each one of us is a minority and has experienced racism or discrimination because of our gender in the past and we wanted to be able to somehow help solve this issue. We also referred to our discussions as a class about human identity and race. People are continuously discriminated against because of their race and gender. Even something as small as someone’s name can give away their ethnicity and cause someone to form biased opinions before even meeting someone. The best example we found was in the instance of employers hiring new candidates for a job.
