Writing a Process Process writing means writing in sequential steps to show how something is done. Process writing can be done in two different ways: 1. Process Procedure · Recipes · Instruction manuals (how to put something together, how to troubleshoot a problem) · Application forms · Technical reports of how a machine works or a computer program works · Experiments (describing the procedure) This type of writing follows an explicit step by step process that follows a chronological or time order. Practice Brainstorm and on a separate piece of paper, write in point form the steps of how to make a perfect cup of green tea. Look at the topic sentence and the use of process transition words.
