Part 1 Using the workplace problem in Activity 2.4, develop an experimental design to study the problem. Provide the details of the design. Hypothesis: American Airlines which is the biggest airline in the world is experiencing a pilot shortage and a decrease in commercial air routes. Pilot shortage and decrease in commercial air routes at American Airlines could be due to the human resource department’s lack of knowledge and training to address the problem. In this experimental design study, we will assess if a targeted intervention program in the human resources department can increase their quality of work and pilots hired. The design of this study will follow a quasi-experimental research method combining both nonequivalent control group design and interrupted time series design ( Cooper & Schindler, 2014 ) . The population of this study will involve two branches of the human resources department at American Airlines that work in pilot recruitment. One branch will be assigned as the control group (n=30) and one branch will be assigned as the experimental group (n=34). The groups will
