All Spanish Verb Conjugations, Uses, and Examples Present Tense Uses: Describing present actions, activities, events Conjugations: -ar verbs: -o, -as, -a, -amos, -an -er/-ir verbs: -o, -es, -e, -emos/-imos, -en Examples: Hablar = hablo, hablas, habla, hablamos, hablan Comer = como, comes, come, comemos, comen Vivir = vivo, vives, vive, vivimos, viven *Yo hablo Español. *Tú comes la ensalada. Preterite Tense Uses: Describing past actions, activities, events Conjugations: -ar verbs = -é, -aste, -ó, -amos, -aron -er/-ir verbs = -í, -iste, -ió, -imos, -ieron Examples: Hablar = hablé, hablaste, habló, hablamos, hablaron Comer = comí, comiste, comió, comimos, comieron Vivir = viví, viviste, vivió, vivimos, vivieron *Ella habló mucho ayer. Future Tense Uses: Talking about future activities, to make promises, to get other people to do things Conjugations (added to the infinitive): -all verbs = -é, -ás, -á, -emos, -án
