Wu 1 Narrative Process Essay Back when my brother and sister were still in high school and I was in elementary, I would always see them watching tennis on the television. At that time it seemed fairly cool but I paid no attention to it until my later years in high school. I stumbled upon a tennis match as I was flipping through channels and it still held my interest long enough to watch a full match. I was amazed at the skill and determination it took to play the sport and I had then decided to take advantage of my school’s tennis team to learn how to play tennis. It was tough at first grasping the concept involved with playing tennis. The first time I swung at the tennis ball it flew straight over the fence. I jokingly told myself I ought to have signed up for baseball but as time progressed I had become much better from practicing every day and grasping the concepts involved. I also played other sports at the time, one of which was ping pong which is nicknamed, “Table Tennis” which no doubt helped me to becoming a better tennis player.
