TBD Office hours: Tues 2-3 and Fri 2-2:30 Website: https://compass.illinois.edu - it will have Powerpoint lectures and computer programs. Lectures will appear on the Compass web site in final form after the lectures. Sometimes preliminary versions will appear earlier. Help Session: In addition to the lectures, we will have a meeting on Tuesday afternoons at 5 PM to help with homework or upcoming tests. These will usually be in 217 Noyes, except Sept. 14 in 161 Noyes. Textbook: Physical Chemistry, a Molecular Approach, by Donald A. McQuarrie and John D. Simon Grading: There will be three hour exams, on Sept. 22, Oct. 20, and Nov. 17 or Dec. 1, (to be determined), all Wednesdays, all regular place and time. Exams are closed book, however one side of an 8x11 page of “cheat sheet” hand written
