I am going to go over the procedures for making boxplots and histogram with the use PHSTAT. I am going to go over just the procedure and am not discussing any explanations of the output in this note. We are going to look at Excel files of the Billionaires2006 based on the report published by Forbes magazine. The file is posted in this conference. The dialogue box asks for the bin range also, which means the classes in which we group the data, Even though we know that a histogram with more than 20 classes does not look very nice, in this case, let us go with the classes that are 1 unit wise.
