You will need: ! textbook -Introduction to the Practice of Statistics by Moore & McCabe, 6th edition - You do NOT need to buy the print version of the textbook. ! access to the StatsPortal website - this contains an online version of the textbook - see below. ! a pocket calculator that has statistical functions. For example, the Casio fx-300MS - an inexpensive calculator that is available in the SFSU bookstore. ! some graph paper. You must do all graphs and plots to scale on graph paper. StatsPortal is a web site containing a complete textbook that supports highlighting and note taking. It contains study resources and some of your assignments.
