adapted from Brian Strang & Heather Cole Reflecting on Writing Integrated Reading and Writing This assignment allows you to reflect on your writing process and abilities. It also allows me to get to know you, as a writer. 1) Describe--in detail--your writing process. What steps do you go through to write a paper? How do you get started? What do you do next? 2) Describe your particular writing habits. Where and when do you write best? Do you listen to music? Are there any non-writing tasks you have to complete before you can settle in and get to work? 3) Discuss what your strengths AND weaknesses are as a writer. Tell me what they are and explain why you think they help or hinder you as a writer. 4) Tell me how you would like to improve your writing. Tell me what specific things you would like to improve in your writing. PLEASE BE AS SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE. Please type your responses and submit with your diagnostic essay.
