Essay Two – English 214 For the second essay you will be developing your own essay topic from the recent class readings about multitasking. You will begin by formulating a question that you can answer in an essay based on your readings of (1) “Is Google Making Us Stupid?” (2) “The Next Step in Brain Evolution” and (3) “The Multitasking Generation.” Note: your question must be (a) directly based on the readings (b) supportable by the readings and (c) about the nature of multitasking. After you have developed your question, write a basic plan for how you think you might develop your response to your question. Both the question and plan, which must be typed, are due in class on Tuesday, 10/26. Next, find three additional online sources that you can use to support your response to your question ( Wikipedia.org cannot be one of those sources). Then gather a minimum of a half a page of quotations from each of your six sources. These must be included in your folder when you turn your final draft in.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
