ELEC 5260/6260 Homework #7 Due: Wednesday, February 17 1. UML problems: 10 points From Chapter 3: UML problems 3-7, 3-9, 3-13, 3-14, and problem 3-16 2. Programs demonstrated on the simulator: 30 points (15 per program) Programs demonstrated on the uCdragon board: up to 10 additional points (5 per program) Design two ARM programs, one in ARM assembly language and the other in C, to perform the following function on the uCdragon boards. This exercise uses one of the RS232 asynchronous serial interfaces to a keyboard and display (you may select either UART), push-button S2 (connected to LPC2292 pin P2.16), and LEDs D8,D7,D6,D5 (connected to LPC2292 pins P2.31,P2.30, P2.29, P2.28, respectively). When a key is pressed on the keyboard, causing an ASCII character to be sent to the LPC2292 UART, the ASCII character should be stored in an 8-byte first-in, first-out (FIFO) circular buffer, and a 3-bit binary number displayed on LEDs D7-D6-D5 should be incremented by 1. The binary number indicates the number of characters waiting in the FIFO. Do not “echo” the character to the display.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
