Unformatted text preview: 09-06-2011 Paper # 2 Organizational Management As an employee at TVB Drugs Pharmacy, Lisa deals daily with disgruntled patients and customers. These customers usually deal with issues ranging from not feeling well, the inability to understand why their medications are seeming to cause them more pain, frustrations at their physicians and staff and not being financially able to pay for the medications prescribed to them by their doctors. Dealing with all these emotions for eight hours a day, six days a week, Lisa says sometimes she ends up taking all the emotions she was given form the patients home with her and feeling horrible herself. TVB Drugs Pharmacy is a small town pharmacy, like a mom and pop shop, very popular in its local town. Everyone knows each other in the pharmacy, thus according to Lisa makes the situations harder to deal with because everyone is like family and she simply wants to help everyone. Lisa recalled a situation where a friend of her mother needed her medication, one in which if she did not take would cause much harm to her, and her mother's friend could not pay for the medication.
