Thesis: It is extremely significant to implement self-sustainable Green Technology in our 21 st century cities to resolve the issues of energy crisis, scarcity of fossil fuels, Global Warming and environmental protection, which will be introduced in the following paragraphs. III.Alternative Energy Sources are a solution to our Energy Crisis. A. Energy Crisis affects stability of nations. 1. Energy Crisis affects the economic development of nations. 2. Energy Crisis affects the dependence between countries to other nations. B. Fossil Fuels have disastrous effects on the environment. 1. Global Warming significantly affects our planet. 2. Fossil fuel pollution is the main source of Global Warming. IV.Alternative Sources of Energy that will be implemented in the near future. A. Hydroelectric Power is one of the most commonly used alternative energy sources. 1. Hydroelectric Power has multiple advantages. 2. Hydroelectric Power’s disadvantages limit its future implementation. B. Wind Power is the most economical alternative energy source. 1. The advantages of Wind Power are extensive. 2. Wind Power has some limitations.

C. Photovoltaic energy is the most famous alternative energy source. 1. Solar Power is easily implemented. 2. The initial high cost is the major disadvantage of Solar Power. D. Tide Power is one of the oldest alternative sources of energy. 1. The contribution of Tide Power to clean energy sources is vast. 2. The limitations of Tide Power are noticeable. E. Geothermal Energy is the least known of alternative energy sources. 1. Geothermal Power is a clean power alternative. 2. The geographical limitations of Geothermal Energy are its weakest link. V. Multiple investments and the current implementation programs make clean energy mainstream. A. Investments have increased since the Energy Act of 2007. B. The Government and N.G.O.’s offer multiple incentives for the implementation of alternative energy sources. C. Research plays an important role in the future of fast implementation of green technology. VI. Environmental Awareness will lead the future of innovation of green technology. A. When individuals adapt environmental awareness, they will be able to make tremendous contributions to their societies. B. Green Living helps people live in a clean and self-sustainable
