HIS 125 week 6 due day 5 Jasmyne Carson The Germans attacked the American allies so the Americans became drawn to the war. The war started to make an impression on the international business of the U.S. which threatened the economy in the U.S. While the American merchant ships were headed to Europe, the U-boats ended up sinking the American ships. The Americans that were opposed to the war were opposed because those Americans did not think their interests were affected by the war. They also thought that the war was a European problem. The factors that brought America into the war are as follows, the attacks on the allies and the attacks on the American merchant ships. The Americans would not have joined the war if it had not of been for the attacks on the American merchant ships and on the allies. To me all of the wars in American history were (in my opinion) unnecessary. Every war starts with an attack, so that being said my questions are, will the attacks ever stop? Will we ever not have wars? If there were no attacks would we
