Thomas Lennemann Summary for Week 11 Dr. Coumbe History 5010 Arsenals of Folly Civilian Controls The generals lost executive authority after WWII. The Goldwater-Nichols Act established the importance of the military leadership of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. After WW II they were staff officers. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
