The space between two concentric spheres of radii a and b (look at sketch) is filled with a fluid of viscosity and rotated about their common center with angular velocities a and b , respectively. Determine the pressure and fluid velocity fields in the space between the spheres. Assume that Re << 1. a b a b 2. A bottle of hair gel contains a few suspended bubbles. We slowly squeeze the bottle as indicated in the left figure below, and focus at the three bubbles indicated in the rectangle. We then let go of the bottle slowly, so that the bottle retains its original shape. The photographer could not remember if the bottom right picture of the same bottle (with the same three bubbles indicated in the rectangle) was taken before or after the bottle was squeezed. Under the conditions of the experiment described above, would it be possible to distinguish the before and after pictures?
