Nutritionist think Americans should eat more fruits, vegetables, and whole-grain products. 8. Nutritionist think Americans should eat less of fats, especially saturated fats, trans fats and foods high in cholesterol. And to limit sodium, consumption of food and beverages with lots of sugar and few nutrients, and limit alcohol consumption. 9. BMI stands for body mass index and it is a measure of weight in relation to height. 10. Two lifestyle changes which would enable Americans to lose weight would be to cut down the number of calories we consume and to increase our activity level to burn more calories.
