Ave. Campus OFFICE HOURS Tuesday: 2:15-4:15 pm @ NJ Hall - 427, Coll. Ave. COURSE OBJECTIVES Main purpose: Provide a solid grounding in the practice of econometrics. Balance theoretical preparation and hands on experience working with data. By the end of the course, students (a) should be able to use an econometric computer package to estimate and interpret an econometric model and report results. (b) should be able to critique reported regression results in applied academic papers. Syllabus Review Syllabus Review TEXTBOOK Introductory Econometrics: A Modern Approach, 4 th edition , by Jeffrey M. Wooldridge (South-western, 2009). SAKAI Announcements, student versions of power point slides and any supplementary readings, will be posted to the courses Sakai site. It can be found at sakai.rutgers.edu LECTURE NOTES Lecture notes posted on sakai before class will be incomplete (i.e. you will need to attend class to fill in the gaps plus any additional comments I have to make).
