RasMol Assignment Sara Martinson Hemoglobin 1. There are 4 polypeptide chains present in this protein. This represents quarternary protein structure and is a tetramer. 2. The alpha helix dominates this structure of protein. 3. There are about 32 alpha helix, 0 beta pleated sheets and 0 turns. 4. There are 4 prosthetic groups present in hemoglobin.
