RasMol Assignment Sara Martinson HIV-1 Reverse Transcriptase 1. There was 2 polypeptide chains present in this protein. This represents quaternary protein structure and is a dimer. 2. There was no structure that stood out as dominate; it appeared that the helices and sheets had somewhat equal amounts. 3. There are about 25 alpha helix, 32 beta pleated sheets and 0 turns.
